Rosenthal's long-established and highly successful Suomi porcelain pattern, designed by the Finnish designer Timo Sarpaneva in 1976, represents a milestone in the company's Studio-Line history. Suomi embodies Rosenthal's standards for excellence and authenticity in modern design. It takes its inspiration from the natural charm of smooth river pebbles. The organic moulding, between circle and square, has been awarded the highest honour conferred in the world of porcelain: the Gold Medal of Faenza. The Square Accent Plate in this series measures 8 x 8-Inch and is dishwasher proof.
